Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you start learning Panjabi - by topic.
Getting started
Do I need to know any Panjabi to start?
Not at all. Panjabi Go is built for complete beginners. You start with the Gurmukhi alphabet and your very first words, and the app guides you one bite-sized step at a time, so you are never thrown in at the deep end.
Is it really free to try?
Yes. Every new learner gets one 7-day free trial in the app. It starts when you first sign in and needs no card. When you are ready, buy a plan on our website or in the app.
How do I download Panjabi Go?
Panjabi Go is available on the App Store and Google Play. Search for Panjabi Go, install it, and you can start your first lesson within minutes.
How do I create an account?
Open the app and tap Sign in or create account. Continue with Google, Apple (on iPhone and iPad), or your email. With email, tap the link we send or type the 6-digit code. There is no password to remember.
Who is Panjabi Go for?
Panjabi Go is made for teenagers and adults. Accounts are for people aged 13 and over, and 13 to 17 year olds need permission from a parent or guardian. The lessons contain nothing unsuitable for younger learners, but the app includes open-ended AI chat and was not designed for children, so it is for parents to decide.
I learned some Panjabi as a child. Can I skip ahead?
Yes. You do not have to start from the very beginning. You can move through the early lessons quickly and spend your time on the parts that genuinely stretch you.
