You do not need to know any Panjabi to begin. Panjabi Go is built for complete beginners, so your very first lesson starts with the basics and guides you one small step at a time.
What your first lesson looks like
Your first lessons introduce the Gurmukhi alphabet and your first words and sounds. Each lesson is short by design - usually just a few minutes - and mixes a few ways of learning so it never feels like rote memorisation:
- Reading the Gurmukhi script from the very first letter
- Listening to how words really sound
- Quick checks that reinforce what you just learned
Already know some Panjabi?
You do not have to start from zero. If you grew up hearing Panjabi or learned a little as a child, move through the early lessons quickly and spend your time on the parts that genuinely stretch you.
Make it a habit
Learning a language is about showing up regularly, not cramming. A few minutes a day beats one long session a week. Choose your reminders in Settings and watch your streak grow - see Building a daily habit for more.
When you are ready to go deeper, the AI tutor lets you practise real conversations at your own pace.
